Studying the Relationship of Religious Attitudes with the Outlook on the Recovery of Cancer Patients

Background and Purpose: Many non-pharmacological factors can be measured in one of these factors can improve cancer patients in their recovery efforts due to their commitment to family. This research was done with the purpose of identifying the relation between family commitment views of the patient and looking for improvement in patients suffering from cancer at Shahid Beheshti Kashan hospital. Materials and methods: This research was done with the purpose of identifying the relation between family commitment views of the patient and looking for improvement in patients suffering from cancer. So, 16 patients suffering from cancer registered at Shahid Beheshti Kashan hospital were chosen as a sample. Findings: With regard to the interview carried out with these patients it became obvious that the resultant improvement on the grounds of the patients treatment, and with the companionship of the family members in the treatment’s process a lot of the patients with various reasons that you can say were the result of their commitment to family, were trying to help their treatment’s process. Conclusion: Family commitment based on health is one if the deep ideas that today alongside of other quantity factors like life expectancy and survival, to which we can pay attention, and we can say it has a positive, upright and meaningful relation with treatment, and its special importance, nowadays, is found in transformational diseases and long term and complicated treatments, like cancers, more and more every day.
